There is a lot of pressure to grow fast, show up everywhere, and do it all yourself. And yes, I am building a brand, but I am doing it differently. I am building it with care, with boundaries, and with people in mind. Not loud, not rushed, just steady.

I like being the person who gets the text that says, “Can you help me untangle this,” or, “I can’t look at this spreadsheet one more time.” That is the space I work best in. I am not trying to go viral. I am trying to be valuable.

Most people are surprised when they hear I still offer help at $35 per hour. But that is the point. This work should be accessible. You should be able to say, “I need support,” without needing to hire full-time. That kind of flexibility has always felt more human to me.

I may not remember the exact start date, but I know how this work makes me feel. Grounded, purposeful, and proud. There is nothing flashy about what I do, and I like it that way.

If you are a creative in Honolulu or anywhere on Oahu, and you are in one of those heavy seasons, you do not have to do it all yourself. Whether it is clearing your inbox, getting your launch organized, or just offloading the tasks you keep pushing to tomorrow, I am here.

A few hours of help can make a big difference. That is the kind of work I am always happy to show up for!

Hey friend, it’s your girl, Issa

I’m an on-call executive assistant for creatives who need calm, capable support. Whether it’s clearing an inbox, managing the moving parts of a launch, or just having someone they trust to handle the to-do list when things get busy, I’m your girl -

I am not exactly sure when I started doing this. There was no launch day, no polished rollout, just someone who needed help and me saying yes. That first task led to another, and before long, I was working regularly with designers, photographers, consultants, and small business owners. Mostly creatives, mostly overwhelmed, mostly figuring things out as they go. The kind of people I genuinely enjoy supporting.

Now, I am part executive assistant, part connector, part strategist, and fully your go-to when business gets busy. I have worked behind the scenes helping Hawai‘i-based creatives stay visible, organized, and ahead of the curve.

I am the person you call when things feel urgent, messy, or just too heavy to carry alone. One week I might be managing your wholesale orders or organizing your inbox, the next I am pitching your story to a local magazine or booking you on a podcast. My job is to get more calm into your day and more eyes on the work you care about.

If I had to guess, I would say it has been about five years since this all started. It feels strange to put a number on it, because none of it came with a business plan. It just became real, slowly and naturally. Somewhere along the way, it became the work I feel most connected to.

Supporting creatives in Honolulu and across Oahu has given me something I did not even know I was looking for. It is not just about ticking things off a list. It is about helping people stay in motion without needing to be at the front of it. I get to support the momentum, to step in when things are moving fast and help keep it all from falling apart.

There is a certain energy creatives bring. It is chaotic, brilliant, and full of heart. One moment you are reviewing a contract, the next you are mapping out a launch, and somewhere in there, trying to remember if you replied to that email. You are doing a lot, often without a full team or any breathing room. That is why I offer what I offer—hourly support that is flexible, grounded, and easy to step into. No contracts, no minimums, just real help when you actually need it.

Some people bring me in for a few hours during a crunch, others call on me every month when things start to slip. Either way, the result is the same—relief. Not just because the work gets done, but because someone else is in it with you, paying attention, and making sure the details are handled.
